H U M A N O I D, a short film directed and filmed by Franco Lacosta, in collaboration with Swedish model, Kristina Kumlin, in the creation of a story of beauty found in the obscurity of a reflective human mind. His choice of technique is non-invasive to the stunning beauty of Kumlin, yet alluring to all eyes. “This is my gift,” says Franco Lacosta, “to be the eyes and ears of the beauty we are oblivious to.” Edited in a stark-contrast black and white, H U M A N O I D intrigues viewers with its own fascinations.

Naeem Khan, the Collection:

Fashion photographer, Franco Lacosta, captures the essence of fashion designer, Naeem Khan, as he plans his most recent collection in preparation for Fashion Week. Using a variety of cinematographic techniques, Lacosta perfectly films instances of the emotional drive, exhilaration and creativity that lead to the final moments before unveiling Khan’s intricate designs. Franco’s eyes truly capture all that is beneath the glamour, finding passion and brilliance through his camera.

La Passion al Desnudo.:

La Passion al Desnudo is a short film depicting the relationship between a photographer and his muse. Fashion photographer, Franco Lacosta, is entranced in a dance of organic beauty while capturing the aesthetics of Swedish model, Kristina Kumlin.

Visionary artist, Franco Lacosta, explores the artistry of emotion through movement and graceful positioning in this short film. Franco directed filmed this piece, by means of a brilliant selection of filmmaking techniques.
